UM Group originally started as UEWL in 1979.
UEWL started as a specialised Workshop since 1979 for welding, turning, fitting and steel manufacturing. The company was renamed in 2002 as UMWL (Ujoodha Mechanical Workshop Ltd) as it embraced bigger engineering jobs as well as a growing customer base.

Upgrade to structural and manufacturing workshop
As a preferred service provider the customers began trusting the company for manufacturing their equipment attachments like buckets, hammer brackets and rippers AND also Trucks cargo boxes and Trailers for various uses. Repairs works like line boring and engine reconditioning started to flow-in as from the years 2000 -
